Irfan Kamal is SVP, Digital Strategy in the 360 Digital Influence Group at Ogilvy.

Over the past 10 years prior to joining Ogilvy, Irfan has worked for Amazon.com’s founder Jeff Bezos on personal new business investment, planning and analysis; for Bechtel on new energy projects; for airlines/aviation companies on innovative interactive and Internet projects (as a consultant); and for Merrill Lynch as an investment banker.  Irfan’s also started a couple of Internet businesses in the preventive health and music spaces.

His functional background includes new media and digital industry analysis, marketing planning, new product launch, new product positioning strategy and marketing segmentation / strategy.

Vertical markets he’s worked in include energy, financial services, media, health and transportation.

Irfan has an MBA from Stanford University and a BSE from Princeton University.
